๐ Hi there! I'm a freelance product engineer with a deep love for aesthetics in
both the digital and the physical worlds. When I'm not busy crafting
pixel-perfect web applications using React,
Vue, and Svelte, you can find me
catching waves, shredding the slopes,
reading anything
or just embracing my inner nerd with the latest gadgets and technology.
As someone who's passionate about new tech, I've learned to stay on the
cutting edge and bring my client's ideas to life in a way that's both
innovative and engaging. My interest in UX and psychology has given me a
keen eye for user-obsessed design and the ability to iterate rapidly,
while keeping clients in the loop every step of the way. I always build
my applications with accessibility, performance and progressive
enhancement, so basically the users, in mind.
Why me? I build good products very fast. So, if you're a
product-obsessed founder and in search of a product engineer, let's join
forces!
FAQ
What is the difference between a front-end developer and a product
engineer?
A product engineer is not merely a developer, but rather an active
participant in the creation of a product. While frontend engineering
seems to only encompass the technicalities of how to build a
product, product engineering also touches on why the product is
needed.
Can you also work with framework X?
Probably yes. I've the most experience with React, Vue and Svelte.
Nonetheless, I've worked with many of them and I'm always trying to
use new ones for my own projects. You want to be sure? Contact me
please. ๐
Are you familiar with backend technologies?
I've experience with setting up REST APIs with PHP and Node.js in
combination with several relational and document DBMS (such as
MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB and Firebase/Supabase). I also have some
experience with Microsoft Azure and GCP.
Is it possible for you to work on-site?
It is.. Although I normally prefer doing it async and remote, so I'm
not bounded to one location. I'm currently located in ๐ณ๐ฑ
Amsterdam.
Can you show me what you built in the past?
Yes.
What is your availability?
Currently I'm not accepting new big projects. You can always hit me
up for smaller ones!
